Panang Curry is a dry thick ,creamy & aromatic red curry which is fried red curry paste in coconut milk, It’s typically made with beef, although you can make it with pork or chicken as well. It is usually just meat, and is seasoned with sliced lime leaves.
The curry paste is made with dried chilli, galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime zest, coriander root, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, shallot, salt, shrimp paste(kapi) & peanuts. The dish is usually made with meat cut into thin strips, kaffir lime leaves, coconut milk, panang curry paste, palm sugar&Thai fish sauce. It typically contains thick coconut milk and has very little other liquids added. A popular Panang curry dish is Beef , and this curry is usually eaten with Thai Jasmine Rice.
